BABY SHOES AND BOOTEES.

A wonderful collection of babies' shoes and bootees reminiscent of byegone handknits. Five styles:- shoes, bootees, bootees with turn down top, shoes with mock sock top in rib or mock rib. Four hem trims:- picot, scalloped, Fair Isle or plain. Together they make twenty variations and thats without any colour changes for the trims. Endless variations of dainty and delicate or colourful and fun footwear for infants, for you to make to match all baby's outfits. Suitable for all babies age 0 to 9 months, and for premature babies as small as 2lbs weight. Knitted on the standard gauge machine. These are good fund-raisers and best sellers at Bazaars, and you have my permission to use these patterns to raise money for your favourite charity. TOASTY TOES SLIPPERS.

A selection of warm and comfortable slippers suitable for both sexes, and in sizes to suit UK adult shoe sizes 3 to 12 but easily adjusted. They are all fully lined, the lining being knitted in one with the slipper, and most require very little sewing with only a few ends to secure and darn in. Quick and easy to knit in either UK 4 ply or UK double knitting yarn on the standard gauge machine. There is a choice of two basic styles, Moccasins and Slip-ons, and seven plain, fancy or frilly trims. Together they make seventeen variations in each yarn weight and that's without any colour changes. These are good fund-raisers and best sellers at Bazaars, and you have my permission to use these patterns to raise money for your favourite charity. CHEQUERBOARD.

A multi-coloured chequerboard sweater in ladies' and childrens' sizes. Chest / bust 20 to 46 inches, 51 to 117 cms. A pattern for a ladies' sideways skirt is included. Knitted with Bramwell Fine 4 ply Acrylic on the standard gauge machine. No patterning device is necessary. This sweater looks like Intarsia but no Intarsia carriage is needed. It is based on one of the ideas in Maggie's book "Easy Intarsia". Using 5 colours of yarn it is ideal for using up your part cones, needing a maximum of 150 gms of each colour for the largest size which is 46" bust. Fairly easy, even for knitters with very little experience. Quick to knit whether bright or pastel, muted or earthy, or shades of one colour. CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATIONS.

The illustration shows just a few of this amazing collection of decorations for your christmas tree. Using Twilleys Goldfingering or similar or any UK 4 ply yarn, these are quickly and easily knitted on the standard gauge machine.Simple no-shaping pieces like Christmas wreaths, Bells, Snowmen or Rosettes, and exercises in holding position like Lurex heart, Stocking, Pentagon, Small and Large balls etc. You will have enormous fun making these decorations and then seeing them on your tree over the Christmas Holidays.
